Heinrich was born on June 11th, 1704 in Bracht (D).  Heinrich's father was Anton Simons and his mother was Agnes Doemges.  His paternal grandparents were Simons and Catharina? Simons?; his maternal grandparents were Reiner Doemges and Catharina Lürkens.  He had a brother and five sisters, named Joannes, Catharina, Gertrud, Cornelia, Gertrud and Elisabeth.  He was the fifth oldest of the seven children.
