Joanna was born on August 25th, 1723 in Swalmen.  Joanna's father was Sibertus Ceuven and her mother was Gertrudis Meuter.  Her paternal grandparents were Joannes Ceuven and Maria Joosten; her maternal grandparents were Areth Meuter and Maria Cruijsbergh.  She had four brothers and four sisters, named Johannes, Joannes, Joannes, Jacobus, Allegundis, Agnes, Anna and Maria.  She was the sixth oldest of the nine children.  She died at the age of 60 on September 10th, 1783.
