Theodora was born on December 22nd, 1716 in Beesel.  Theodora's father was Joannes Simes and her mother was Mathiola  (Tisken) van O(e)broeck.  Her paternal grandparents were Anton Simons and Agnes Doemges; her maternal grandparents were Jacob van Obroeck and Mechtildis Nijssen.  She had five brothers and a sister, named Jacobus, Jacobus, Joannes, Petrus, Martinus and Catharina.  She was the oldest of the seven children.  She died at the age of 73 on February 25th, 1790.
