Antonius was born on November 14th, 1749 in Beesel.  Antonius' father was Antonius Misdom and his mother was Maria Barbara Schreuder.  His maternal grandparents were Georgius Schrijder and Catharina Coolstronck.  He had two brothers and three sisters, named Joannes, Wilhelmus, Anna, Maria and Barbara.
