Maria was born on October 14th, 1711 in Bracht (D).  Maria's father was Mathias Hauser and her mother was Agnes Deutgens.  Her paternal grandparents were Henrich Hauser an gen Haus and Theodora Steppen/ Hermans.  She had five brothers and a sister, named Peter, Hubert, Theodor, Gerard, Leonard and Maria.  She was the fifth oldest of the seven children.
