Leonard was born on May 19th, 1714 in Bracht (D).  Leonard's father was Mathias Hauser and his mother was Agnes Deutgens.  His paternal grandparents were Henrich Hauser an gen Haus and Theodora Steppen/ Hermans.  He had four brothers and two sisters, named Peter, Hubert, Theodor, Gerard, Maria and Maria.  He was the sixth oldest of the seven children.  He died at the age of 32 on October 10th, 1746.
