Christine was born in Bracht (D).  Christine's father was Peter Erkens and her mother was Catharina Keiteler.  Her paternal grandparents were Jakob Erkens and Elisabeth Hogen.  She had two brothers and three sisters, named Jakob, Peter, Helena, Elisabeth and Helena.  She had two half-sisters named Elisabeth and Petronella.  She died on February 28th, 1764.
