Wilhelmina was born on January 17th, 1781 in Beesel.  Wilhelmina's father was Jacob Simons and her mother was Anna Maria Misdom.  Her paternal grandparents were Joannes Simons and Gertrudis Engelen; her maternal grandparents were Antonius Misdom and Maria Barbara Schreuder.  She had five brothers and two sisters, named Jean, Pierre, Antonius, Jacques, Gerard, Margarita and Barbara.  She was the fifth oldest of the eight children.  She died at the age of 60 on February 8th, 1841.
