Engelbertus was born on May 1st, 1762 in Bergen.  Engelbertus' father was Peter Nabben and his mother was Aldegonde Janssen.  His paternal grandparents were Godefridus Nabben and Joanna van Well.  He was an only child.  He died at the age of 51 on March 25th, 1814.
